Designed to inspire creativity and foster innovation, PACKATHON brings together visionary entrepreneurs, industry leaders, and mentors to collaborate, share knowledge, and push the boundaries of packaging design and materials innovation.
Since its inception, Packathon has emerged as a powerful platform for nurturing out-of-the-box thinking among young innovators, especially students from packaging, engineering, and allied disciplines across India. Each edition has grown stronger, refining its structure and expanding its impact on the packaging ecosystem. Last year, 23 exceptional teams were selected to showcase their ideas and products at Packathon 2025, demonstrating the event’s role in fostering creativity, industry collaboration, and real-world problem-solving with active involvement from industry experts, government bodies, and key stakeholders.

Water-based adventure sports introduce an entirely different set of challenges compared to land-based disciplines, requiring competitors to navigate swift currents, open waters, and unpredictable aquatic environments. These events demand not just physical endurance but also technical expertise, teamwork, and adaptability, as water conditions can change rapidly due to weather, tides, and terrain.
Unlike land races where footing is stable, water-based challenges test an athlete’s ability to maintain control in a constantly shifting environment, where waves, currents, and water depth play critical roles in navigation and speed. Whether competing in rivers, lakes, or ocean waters, participants must develop advanced paddling techniques, survival skills, and strategic decision-making to succeed.
Extreme & Tactical Challenges
Extreme and tactical challenges bring a survival and military-style dimension to adventure racing, demanding competitors to think, react, and perform under high-pressure conditions. Unlike conventional endurance sports, these challenges are designed to simulate real-world scenarios, often drawing inspiration from military operations, wilderness survival, and high-risk tactical missions.
Incorporating a mix of physical endurance, technical expertise, mental resilience, and strategic adaptability, these challenges test an athlete’s ability to overcome extreme environmental conditions, navigate uncharted terrains, and execute complex tasks while under duress. Competitors must be prepared for isolation, exhaustion, and high-stakes decision-making, all while ensuring their safety and efficiency in completing tasks.
